There is a definite energy that takes hold of Greater Westhampton Beach as Memorial Day approaches. For those of us who live here year-round, it’s the excitement of seeing the village come alive. For our neighbors returning from their winter residences, it’s that long-awaited exhale as you cross the William Floyd Parkway and catch the first scent of salt air. With summer just around the corner, we are standing on the doorstep of another spectacular season.

Living in Remsenburg and practicing real estate here for 30 years, I’ve navigated three decades of “Opening Weekend”. I’ve learned that the secret to a truly stress-free summer isn’t just about the beach—it’s about the peace of mind that comes from a well-managed home. Whether this is your primary residence or a cherished seasonal getaway, your home is likely your most significant asset.
