Founder & Publisher
After more than a decade working in finance and media, with senior roles in M&A, business development, and investor relations at Target, Oaklins, Morningside, and LBC, Cristina C. Morais knew how to build companies. What she hadn’t yet built was the life she truly wanted.
After facing breast cancer, Cristina chose to pause, reset, and chart a new course. She left city life behind to create a more intentional rhythm by the sea, one rooted in family, community, and purpose. That shift inspired the launch of Hamptons Family Media LLC, the parent company behind Greater Westhampton Neighbors, Hampton Bays Neighbors, and the digital platform @HamptonsFamilyLife.
Through these platforms, Cristina brings a data-driven yet deeply personal approach to local storytelling - connecting neighbors, celebrating small businesses, and capturing the evolving fabric of year-round life on the East End.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Cristina holds a B.A. from Haverford College and an M.S. from New York University. She now lives in the Hamptons with her husband, their young child, and very photogenic standard poodle (the unofficial mascot of her magazines).
